WATERCOLOR
With my watercolor curriculum you will ease into this tricky medium. You will learn blending, wet on wet, layering, lifting, blooms, stippling, etc.
ACRYLIC
Acrylic paints are an incredible medium to create bright, bold and beautiful pieces. Water based acrylic paint is composed of minute particles of plastic acrylic resin suspended in water (acrylic polymer emulsion) and pigment. As the water evaporates the resin particles fuse together forming a strong durable paint. This also allows it to be a very forgiving medium. You will learn blending, wet on wet, layering, dry brush and washing.
OIL
Oil paints were first used in Asia as early as the 7th century AD and can be seen in examples of Buddhist paintings in Afghanistan. Oil-based paints made their way to Europe by the 12th century and were used for simple decoration, but did not begin to be adopted as an artistic medium there until the early 15th century. Become the next Michelangelo. You will learn blending, wet on wet, layering, dry brushing, and patience!
DIGITAL
Once we've learned the digital drawing basics, we can move to DIGITAL PAINTING! Shapes, fills, layers, blending, line work, tone, opacity, ect. etc. etc. Let's create something dynamic and beautiful on your tablet.
